Job Description
- Work with art/creative directors to create and/or modify highend imagery with the highest standard of aesthetic excellence.
- Manage the final release of images ensuring adherence to timing and skill constraints related to retouching.
- Handle color as it relates to hard and soft proofing and image composition effectively communicating color issues with creative and noncreative stakeholders.
- Maintain color fidelity throughout the studio environment including monitor calibration and contract proofing.
- Conduct color proof approvals for prints ensuring quality assurance.
- Collaborate with clients and account managers to incorporate feedback and ensure client satisfaction.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously effectively allocating resources and maintaining communication with crossfunctional teams and clients.
- 69 years of experience in an ad agency or print production environment with a design qualification.
- Extensive handson experience in all related areas with a working knowledge of all relevant applications.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for art and composition.
- Strong understanding of color correction and visual art components.
- High proficiency in the digital editing process particularly in highend retouching and color grading.
- Ability to work closely with photographers designers and art directors and to manage multidisciplinary creative teams handling highvolume requests.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- An impressive portfolio showcasing highend retouching color grading and print production work.
