Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts
- Identify record and track bugs to resolution
- Conduct manual and automated testing
- Collaborate with product and development teams to design and implement effective testing strategies
- Diagnose and troubleshoot software defects
- Document test results and create quality assurance reports
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices and standards
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
- Review and analyze system specifications
- Provide feedback to enhance product functionality
- Maintain and update testing documentation
- Stay updated on new testing tools and test strategies
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding quality assurance activities
- Contribute to process improvements and optimizations
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a QA tester or similar role
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies tools and processes
- Experience with both manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in testing web and mobile applications
- Knowledge of Agile methodology and principles
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
- Familiarity with test management tools and version control systems
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Certifications such as ISTQB CSTE or CSQA are a plus
- Capability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills
