Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in a variety of surgical procedures including General Orthopedic Urology OB/GYN Podiatry ENT and Facial Plastics.
- Prepare the operating room by ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are available and sterile.
- Participate in the cleaning turnover and scrubbing of the operating room when not first assisting.
- Take call 23 nights per week and every 3rd weekend.
- Respond to calls within a 20minute timeframe.
- Work collaboratively with surgical teams to provide exceptional patient care.
- Flexibility in scheduling: ability to work four consecutive days followed by a threeday weekend (either Saturday Sunday Monday or Friday Saturday Sunday on a rotating basis).
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST).
- Previous experience in a surgical setting preferred.
- Strong work ethic and selfstarter mentality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
