Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care during various cardiac procedures including:
- Interventional Radiology (IR) and catheterization lab procedures
- Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
- Electrophysiology Catheterization Studies (ECV)
- Tilt Table Tests
- Pacemaker and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) insertions
- Internal Loop Recorder insertions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in the oncall rotation which involves approximately 7 days of call per month.
- Work within a fourperson call team ensuring adequate coverage and support.
- Assist in the training and orientation of new staff as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Wisconsin.
- Previous experience in a cardiac cath lab or similar clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong critical thinking organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
