Job Description
Job Title: IT Program Director
Experience Level: 1720 years
Location: Doha Qatar
Contract Duration: 1 Year
Language Proficiency: Arabic Speaker
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced IT Program Director to lead and manage largescale IT transformation programs in Doha. The successful candidate will have 1720 years of proven experience in program management particularly within the IT and technology domains with a strong emphasis on delivering IT transformation initiatives. The role requires fluency in Arabic and a deep understanding of local business environments and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership and Management:
- Direct the planning development and implementation of complex IT transformation programs ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Oversee all phases of the program lifecycle from conception to delivery ensuring timelines budgets and quality standards are met.
- Develop comprehensive program strategies ensuring clear objectives deliverables and KPIs are defined and achieved.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders both internal and external ensuring effective communication and alignment on program goals.
- Lead regular stakeholder meetings providing updates on progress addressing concerns and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
- Ensure that program objectives are aligned with broader organizational goals and customer expectations.
- Risk Management and Issue Resolution:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent disruptions in program delivery.
- Address any issues related to scope quality or schedule ensuring quick resolution to maintain program momentum.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope resources and timelines.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead crossfunctional teams ensuring clear roles responsibilities and effective communication across different departments and regions.
- Foster a collaborative and highperformance culture guiding and mentoring team members to achieve program objectives.
- Ensure that the teams are adhering to best practices in IT program management and transformation initiatives.
- Financial and Resource Management:
- Manage program budgets ensuring costeffectiveness and proper allocation of resources.
- Monitor financial performance ensuring that the program is delivered within budget and that resources are optimized.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Regularly monitor and assess the performance of the program against defined KPIs adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure success.
- Prepare and deliver highlevel reports on program status risks and achievements to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure transparency in reporting and provide actionable insights to guide decisionmaking.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 1720 years of experience in IT program management with a strong focus on transformation initiatives.
- Proven track record of managing largescale complex programs particularly in the IT and technology sectors.
- Fluency in Arabic is mandatory with an indepth understanding of the local business landscape.
- Expertise in stakeholder management risk mitigation and financial oversight.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crossfunctional teams and drive collaboration.
