Job Description
Responsibilities:
System Administration:
- Administer RedHat Enterprise Linux systems ensuring proper installation configuration and maintenance.
- Utilize RedHat Satellite for automated provisioning and patch management of Linux servers.
- Provide Red Hat administration support for the BLS Innovation Lab environment.
- Administer Red Hat Linux servers VMware vSphere HP Synergy Frame servers HP Blade servers and Red Hat OpenShift.
- Support workstations laptops and switches.
IT Security and Compliance:
- Enforce IT security procedures and policies to safeguard sensitive data.
- Implement securityrelated tools to monitor and report on network traffic and account audits.
- Participate in security audits and assessments providing comprehensive reports.
Technical Support:
- Provide technical support for the BLS Innovation Lab.
- Ensure the BLS Innovation Lab is accessible during business hours.
- Install and report on monitoring tools to ensure operability transparency.
- Install maintain and upgrade computer hardware software and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot issues related to hardware software and network connectivity.
- Perform quarterly testing on Backup/Restore systems.
- Provide timely technical support to staff for computer hardware software and peripherals.
- Manage requests for Lab related resources submitted through the Ticketing System.
