Job Description
- Review and assess shop drawings submitted by subcontractors to ensure they meet project specifications, design criteria, and quality standards. Identify discrepancies, provide feedback, and coordinate with subcontractors for necessary revisions
- Collaborate with structural, civil, and MEP engineers, as well as other stakeholders, to ensure the seamless integration of architectural solutions into overall project designs. Address coordination issues to optimize design efficiency.
- Ensure all architectural work adheres to relevant local codes, regulations, and project-specific requirements, including Saudi Building Codes and applicable international standards.
- Implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards of work. Conduct thorough checks on all drawings, ensuring consistency and compliance with design guidelines.
- Provide design input and make necessary modifications to architectural plans based on site conditions, design development, or client requirements. Ensure all changes are documented and communicated effectively.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of all shop drawings, reviews, and revisions. Ensure all records are up-to-date and accessible for project teams and stakeholders.
