Job Description
Position Title: Maintenance Supervisor Electrical/Mechanical Machines Equipment CNC Machines
Position Type: 6month Contract
Location: Greater Detroit Michigan area
Industry: Manufacturing CNC Machining Experience
Salary: Commensurate with experience
General Duties:
You will Supervise employees in the installation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment and machinery used in company operations.
You will oversee the installation and maintenance of equipment and machinery
- Oversees the work of maintenance and maintenance support staff.
- Communicates expectations and provides direction and training.
- Monitors work performance and provides feedback.
- Coordinates maintenance of production equipment.
- Oversees technical process control and quality process controls
Position Description:
- Maintains safe secure and healthy maintenance environment by adhering to organization standards and policies and to legal regulations.
- Immediately addressing issues and alerting others regarding potential concerns.
- Supervises maintenance employee outcomes by selecting orienting training assigning scheduling coaching counseling and disciplining associates.
- Communicates job expectations planning monitoring and appraising job contributions and recommends compensation actions adhering to defined policies and procedures.
- Accomplishes maintenance requirements by orienting assigning and coaching employees.
- Meets maintenance standards by following productivity and quality standards and resolving problems.
- Works with a crossfunctional team to meet cost standards by implementing costsaving actions.
- Fulfills shift operations plans by receiving operational report from previous shift and allocating resources in addition to fulfilling current operational plan.
- Completes shift operations by monitoring maintenance services reallocating resources and solving operational problems.
- Documents maintenance services by completing forms reports logs and records ensuring accuracy of data.
- Contributes to maintenance and organization success by welcoming related different and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
Education and Experience required.
- Must Have 4year BA/BS Degree
- Must Have 3 to 5 years of Industrial/Manufacturing Maintenance experience.
- Must have 3 to 5 years professional maintenance supervisory experience.
- Must have 5 years of CNC machining experience.
- Must have handson experience working with and setting up maintenance systems as in PM programs.
- Must have 3 to 5 years professional maintenance supervisory experience.
