Job Description

Overview

The IT Recruiter plays a critical role in the organizations success by sourcing screening and hiring top IT talent to fulfill the companys technological needs. This role is essential in building and maintaining a highly skilled IT workforce contributing to the organizations growth and innovation.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand IT staffing needs
  • Source screen and recruit potential IT candidates through various channels
  • Conduct interviews and assess applicants relevant knowledge skills experience and aptitudes
  • Coordinate technical assessments and skills testing
  • Manage and maintain a strong candidate pipeline
  • Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires
  • Provide recommendations to improve IT recruiting strategies and processes
  • Negotiate offers and handle the hiring process
  • Build strong relationships with IT professionals and maintain a network of potential candidates
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools effectively
  • Create and present detailed reports on recruiting activities and outcomes
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market salary information
  • Participate in recruitment events job fairs and networking opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with all local state and federal employment laws and regulations

Required qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or relevant field
  • Proven work experience as an IT Recruiter or similar role
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing and hiring IT professionals
  • Proficient in utilizing social media and professional networks for sourcing candidates
  • Strong knowledge of IT skills technical roles and qualifications
  • Excellent understanding of technological trends and terms
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conduct thorough interviews and assess technical skills effectively
  • Wellversed in labor legislation and recruitment best practices
  • Effective negotiation and influencing abilities
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional certification in Human Resources or Recruitment a plus
  • Experience in employer branding and talent marketing strategies is advantageous
