Job Description
Overview:
The Senior Android Developer Kotlin will be a key member of our mobile development team in Tokyo. They will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of highquality Android applications leveraging their expertise in Kotlin and Android SDK. Work closely with project owners and other departments and utilize your technical background to consider formulate document develop (coding unit test creation) and release service specifications
- Continuously refactor the code base to provide stable value over the long term
- Contribute to ensuring code quality and accumulating knowledge through code reviews on GitHub
- Improve and maintain the CI environment Discover issues through user behavior analysis and propose and implement improvements
- Maintain and improve app performance
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design development and maintenance of cuttingedge Android applications using Kotlin.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality organization and automation.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices into the development process.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience developing native Android apps using Kotlin or Java (5 years) Indepth knowledge of Android standard libraries and Jetpack Indepth knowledge of UI based on Material Design Experience implementing unit tests using a testing framework Experience developing in a team using Git and GitHub Businesslevel Japanese or English.
