Overview:
The SQL MySQL Dev Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the development and maintenance of databases within our organization. They will work closely with the development team to design and implement database solutions ensuring optimal performance and reliability for our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing implementing and maintaining database systems
- Write and optimize SQL queries
- Participate in the development and maintenance of data models
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate database solutions into software applications
- Perform database tuning and optimization
- Ensure data security and integrity
- Contribute to the documentation of database processes and procedures
- Support database backup and recovery processes
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving database issues
- Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices
- Assist in performance testing and benchmarking of database systems
- Contribute to database performance monitoring and reporting
- Assist in data migration and integration processes
- Support adhoc data requests and reporting
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support databaserelated needs
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- Strong understanding of SQL and MySQL
- Experience with database design and data modeling
- Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries
- Basic understanding of database administration and management
- Knowledge of database security best practices
- Familiarity with database backup and recovery processes
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
