Overview:
The role of a Warehouse Packer & Helper is crucial to the efficient operation of a warehouse. As a vital part of the supply chain this role involves preparing orders for shipment ensuring the accuracy of products and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine and inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Package items according to specifications
- Label and mark containers
- Sort and arrange items on shelves and in bins
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks
- Keep an inventory of packed items
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders efficiently
- Operate packaging machinery
- Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No prior experience required this is a position open to freshers
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Basic math skills for inventory purposes
