Job Description
Overview:
The SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) role is crucial within the organization responsible for managing the endtoend warehouse processes and ensuring the seamless integration of the SAP EWM system with other business systems. This role plays a vital part in optimizing warehouse operations and ensuring efficient inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP EWM
- Design and optimize warehouse layouts and processes
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate SAP EWM with other systems
- Develop and implement testing procedures for SAP EWM functionality
- Train and support end users in SAP EWM processes and functionalities
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP EWM system
- Manage system upgrades and enhancements
- Analyze and optimize warehouse performance and productivity
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Supply Chain Management or related field
- 5 years of experience in SAP EWM configuration and implementation
- Strong understanding of warehouse management processes and best practices
- Experience in SAP ERP integration with EWM
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in system testing and training
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across teams
- Knowledge of industryspecific regulations and compliance
- Project management skills and experience
- Strong analytical and decisionmaking abilities
