Cognos Developer
Responsibilities
Must Have :
- Working knowledge and experience with all aspects of Cognos BI tools including Report Studio Analysis Studio Event Studio Framework Manager and Cognos Configuration.
- Design develop and implement BI solutions using IBM Cognos (Analytics Framework manager report studio query studio etc). This involves model creation and packages in Frame work Manger for the requirements.
- Experience with Cognos Report Development or any equivalent reporting tool.
- Should have good experience to Create Report View scheduling Bursting Cognos reports.
Must Have:
. Design develop and deploy dashboard solutions and multidimensional reports using IBM s Cognos.
- Work with a business analysis team and report users to define and document requirements for new reports and modifications to existing reports.
- Manage report security and report distribution.
- Define and maintain Configuration management of the reporting portfolio.
- Create and maintain a standard reporting library and delivery schedule to meet customer and operational needs.
- Work with team members to evaluate the needs of the company that relate to Cognos development.
- Extensive knowledge of Cognos BI suite.
- Experience working with data and data warehousing business solutions.
- Thorough understanding of Cognos Framework Manager Reporting and Dashboard.
- Knowledge of Data warehousing concepts.
- Knowledge of ETL concepts.
- Ability to perform data discovery and quality analysis.
- 4 year of experience with Cognos report development
- Experience with Framework Manager
- Strong PL/SQL development experience with the ability to write complex and nested SQL queries
