Are you interested in working with semiconductor manufacturing equipment This role involves providing customer support for installing repairing and maintaining photolithography semiconductor equipment mainly in Hillsboro Oregon. Training will be provided in Austin Texas Hillsboro Oregon or Japan for 13 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair semiconductor equipment based on factory standards.
- Instruct customers on how to use and maintain the equipment.
- Act as the company s contact for customer issues during installations or major repairs.
- Troubleshoot and fix equipment issues either independently or with a team.
- Provide technical support to minimize downtime and maintain good customer relationships.
- Report and document equipment errors status updates and actions.
- Train customer personnel on proper equipment use and servicing.
- Collaborate with field technicians for troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience/training.
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with optical systems lasers software robotics or chemicals is essential.
- Linux OS knowledge is preferred.
- Strong mechanical skills and experience with electronic testing tools required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good troubleshooting communication and customer service skills.
- Must be comfortable working in cleanroom conditions (full cleanroom suit required).
- Must be willing to travel work flexible hours and have a valid driver s license.
- Physical work required including lifting up to 25 pounds and standing/sitting for long periods.
This position may involve exposure to dust fumes noise and varying temperatures. Compliance with safety policies and customer protocols (including COVID19 measures) is required.
