Job Description
This role involves leading and supporting the development maintenance and deployment of functionalities related to the companys Oracle EBusiness Suite with a specific focus on General Accounting and Financials. The position requires collaboration with both business customers and the technical team to identify design and implement Oracle EBusiness changes aimed at enhancing business processes and effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and assess business requirements determining approaches to meet them using Oracle capabilities and customizations.
- Formulate recommendations business cases and estimates for new functionalities and changes to enhance business processes and application performance.
- Develop test and implement new Oracle capabilities customizations and configurations.
- Investigate issues related to Oracle EBusiness Suite functionality data and interfaces implementing resolutions.
- Collaborate with business customers to identify improvements alternatives or new capabilities for organizational benefit.
- Document and estimate specific requests for new capabilities assisting in assessing their value to the organization.
- Document Oracle Business Suite configuration support information and customizations following Metro IT standard application methodology.
- Work with Metro infrastructure database and other application development teams to ensure proper unit system user acceptance and performance testing.
- Assist in the orientation and training of Oracle end users/customers.
- Mentor other IT team members appropriately to facilitate their professional growth.
- The role involves a 40% focus on functional tasks and a 60% emphasis on technical aspects.

- Full life cycle development experience.
- Ability to investigate reported issues and determine potential changes and solutions.
- Ability to investigate data applications and processes and determine problem sources in a complex environment.
- Ability and interest in staying current on Oracle EBusiness suite and technologies.
- Understanding of information technology and Oracle standards procedures and best practices.
- Experience with Oracle EBusiness Suite modules interfaces and technologies.
- Mandatory:
- Functional configuration experience in at least one of the following Oracle EBusiness Suite modules (preferably release 12.2): AR GL FA Projects and Grants.
- Technical understanding of Oracle tables APIs and development guidelines
- Experience providing daytoday enduser support.
- Ability to develop and debug complex SQL queries and PL/SQL packages.
- Knowledge about a few of the RICEWF objects like: Oracle Reports BI Publisher reports Forms and/or OAF Extensions Interfaces Workflow
- Special consideration will be given to the following:
- Working knowledge of Oracle cloud technologies and tools.
- Experience working with Oracle Analytics Cloud
Education: B.A./B.S. or equivalent experience required.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years required (midlevel).
