As an Audiologist and SpeechLanguage Pathologist you will play a dual role in assessing diagnosing and treating both auditory and speechlanguage disorders. You will work with patients of all ages providing personalized care and developing treatment plans to meet their specific needs.
Audiology:
- Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments including audiometric testing and diagnose hearing and balance disorders.
- Fit and prescribe hearing aids and other auditory devices.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for hearing and balance issues.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about hearing health and device management.
SpeechLanguage Pathology:
- Assess and diagnose speech language and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to address speech and language challenges.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to improve communication skills.
- Educate patients and their families about speechlanguage disorders and therapy techniques.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records for both audiological and speechlanguage services.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest research techniques and advancements in both audiology and speechlanguage pathology.
