Job Description: Our client a leading entity in the automotive CNC machining sector seeks skilled Electricians with a solid foundation in manufacturing environments for direct hire. Suitable candidates will have a Journeyman Electrician card or a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience focusing on industrial machinery maintenance over facilities.
Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and troubleshoot all CNC machining facility electrical systems.
- Ensure CNC machines and their controllers (Fanuc/Siemens) are functional.
- Handle high and low voltage circuitry (480V to 24V DC).
- Journeyman Electrician or 7 years in a related Electrical Engineering role.
- Proficient in PLC (preferably Allen Bradley) CNC Program Frequency Drives and troubleshooting various circuitries.
- Adept in electrical maintenance for industrial manufacturing including expertise in high to low voltage systems.
- Direct hire with overtime options per union contract.
- The role offers a chance for skill enhancement notably with advanced manufacturing systems.
- A deep understanding of both PLC and CNC systems is valued indicating flexibility in the candidates skill set. Familiarity with Program Frequency Drives is essential.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and maintaining electrical equipment in a handson manufacturing setting.
- Candidates must have practical skills in electrical and mechanical issue troubleshooting.
- Preference given to candidates with strong backgrounds in either CNC or PLC systems demonstrating adaptability.
