Job Description
Note: This role does not offer visa sponsorship. We are only looking for candidates in Germany who speak German (C1 or Fluent/Native)
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize our network firewalls server systems and clients
- Provide support to colleagues from various departments with their IT system challenges
- Manage and coordinate external IT service providers
Requirements
- You are a certified IT specialist for system integration have a completed (technical) university degree or have acquired a comparable qualification through extensive professional experience
- Strong knowledge in networking (switching & routing)
- Practical experience with firewall systems and network security
- Familiarity with current Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of SQL and AS400 / Power 10 is desirable
- Experience in several of the following areas is advantageous: Active Directory Office365 Virtualization (VMware) Backup Software (Veeam) Patch Management (PDQ/WSUS) Network Monitoring & Scripting (PowerShell / Python)
- High level of responsibility excellent German and English skills reliability loyalty flexibility strong communication skills and team orientation complete your profile
