We are hiring for a wellestablished West Cumbria based company which has various small businesses within their portfolio.
The role will report directly to the Chair. The executive director plays an active role as a member of the Board in the running of the company.
Your new job:
In addition to the traditional finance function duties (cash management liaising with the auditors and the bank and other finance related matters such as budgeting financial performance overseeing accounting staff) the role encompasses a variety of other administrative responsibilities:
- Human Resources dealing with staff issuing contracts records up to date awareness of legislation
- Understanding of payroll and autoenrolment requirements
- GDPR awareness of what our responsibilities are and ensuring that we are compliant
- Ensure that AML regulations are being met
- Overseeing H&S
- Insurance renewals (commercial combined professional credit)
- Agreeing contracts for the supply of equipment/electricity
- Oversee the IT function / IT Manager
- Manage the Business Risk Register
- Acting as Company Secretary
Requirements
Sound financial background and with experience to oversee the finance and administrative functions within a small but busy company whose business operates in various sectors.
The role will report directly to the Chair and you will play an active role as a member of the Board in the running of the company.
Consideration will be given to anybody who can demonstrate experience to oversee and manage the areas listed above and we are willing to consider either full or parttime.
Benefits
Salary of around 75000 is offered (or pro rata if parttime).
