Job Description
Objective: The incumbent is expected to work closely with ExxonMobil s Field Engineering (FES) & Sales Team in collaboration with Distributor team of assigned territories and should possess good understanding of Machine tools applications and Industrial lubricants.
Key Results / Accountability:
- A field based Technician to support the Metal working fluids business of ExxonMobil Lubricants by supporting customers through CMS services.
- Responsible for supporting ongoing field trials of high performance watersoluble coolants through regular visits & by maintaining proper coordination and communication with the stakeholders.
- Responsible for carrying ExxonMobil s motto of Safety first & must follow 3rd party site safety principles & JobSafety Analysis prerequisites during customer visits.
- Should know using MS office for creating and submitting routine monitoring reports.
- Attending and managing customer complaints arising due to application or coolant related reasons and should be able to provide inputs to prepare reports on Root Cause failure analysis.
Key challenges :
- Multiple key stakeholders management (External & Internal)
- 7090% travelling.
- Technical proficiency in Machine tools applications and coolants.
- Technical knowhow of customer processes & market trends.
- Must speak in English Hindi and regional languages
Requirements
Education: Any Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering will be an advantage.
Experience: This role requires a minimum 3 years of experience in managing metal working fluids (coolants) at machine shops managing lubricants maintenance at automotive component manufacturers and should possess good understanding of Machine tools applications. Must have sound understanding of customers and an experience with Lubricants Industry shall be preferred (optional).
Competencies:
- Knows to monitor the trials prepare benefit reports and conclude trials.
- Supervise distributor teams for MWF business
- Able to manage key accounts and large machine shops
- Good written and verbal communication skills. Able to manage internal & external customers well.
- A demonstrated track record in problem solving.
- Strong networking and influencing skills.
- Experience in using applications like MS Office etc.
- Having a twowheeler with valid driving license is a must
Education: A Bachelor s Degree (B.E. or B.Tech.) in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering will be an advantage. Experience: This role requires a minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, field based technical services or sales engineering and should possess good understanding of Industrial applications like cement, power, steel plants etc. and/or automotive applications like engines, transmissions, hydraulics etc. Must have sound understanding of customers and an experience with Lubricants Industry shall be preferred (optional) . Competencies: Ability to demonstrate value creation for customers Presentation skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Able to manage internal & external customers well. A demonstrated track record in problem solving. Strong networking and influencing skills. Experience in using applications like MS Office etc. Having a two-wheeler with valid driving license is a must
