Job Description
Our client an international Law Firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Director to join their esteemed client in Johannesburg. This role is ideal for a professional with a deep understanding of corporate and international tax structuring and a strong background in handling acquisition funding and complex tax issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and guidance on corporate and international tax structuring.
- Oversee and manage complex tax issues related to acquisition funding.
- Develop and implement effective tax strategies that align with business objectives.
- Manage and lead a team of tax professionals if applicable and ensure high standards of service delivery.
- Utilize an existing portable practice to drive business growth and maintain client relationships.
- Collaborate with senior management and other departments to ensure comprehensive tax planning and compliance.
Experience and Qualifications
- LLB Degree Admitted Attorney.
- LLM in Tax preferred.
- At least 8 10 years PQE.
- Exceptional knowledge and experience in corporate and international tax structuring.
- Proven track record in managing acquisition funding and complex tax issues.
- Strong leadership and team management skills; exceptional candidates may be considered to manage a team with our clients existing client base.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Salary: Market Related
