Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Area Leader to oversee the Dryer Department in a highvolume manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing this role will focus on continuous improvement safety and quality management within dryer operations. The Area Leader will manage daily operations ensuring production goals are met while fostering employee engagement and development.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with safety programs and OSHA standards within the Dryer Department.
Lead and train team members on equipment operation quality standards and leadership skills.
Oversee production processes focusing on improving efficiency and maintaining product quality.
Set and achieve goals that align with manufacturing operations and customer expectations.
Collaborate with Supply Chain Quality HR and other departments to maintain smooth operations.
Promote continuous improvement in safety quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Operations Business or Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years experience in a highvolume manufacturing environment.
Proven leadership with a servant leadership mindset.
Experience with lean tools and process improvement.
Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook.
Strong understanding of process control and production scheduling.
Physical Requirements:
This role involves sitting for long periods standing manual dexterity stooping bending and minimal lifting.
