Position Overview:
As the Managing Partner you will lead a team of investment professionals manage investor relations and oversee the entire investment lifecycle from sourcing deals to exit strategies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the venture capital landscape a strong network within the startup ecosystem and a proven ability to generate attractive returns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the firms investment strategy in alignment with market trends and investor expectations.
- Lead the sourcing evaluation and due diligence processes for potential investment opportunities.
- Negotiate and structure investment terms including equity stakes governance rights and exit strategies.
- Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to portfolio company executives to optimize growth and operational efficiency.
- Manage relationships with limited partners (LPs) including reporting on fund performance and fundraising efforts.
- Foster a collaborative and highperformance culture within the firm promoting teamwork and professional development.
- Stay abreast of industry developments emerging technologies and competitive dynamics to inform investment decisions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a successful venture capitalist with a track record of leading investments that have delivered significant returns.
- Deep understanding of financial modeling valuation techniques and deal structuring.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Bachelors degree in Finance Business Administration Economics or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CFA) a plus.
