Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled IT Consultant to provide expertlevel IT support and advice to our clients. The IT Consultant will be responsible for understanding the clients business needs diagnosing technical issues and implementing solutions to enhance their IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should possess strong problemsolving skills extensive technical knowledge and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation: Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and identify their IT needs. Provide recommendations and strategies to improve their IT systems.
- System Analysis and Design: Analyze existing IT infrastructure and systems. Design and implement solutions that optimize performance scalability and security.
- Implementation and Integration: Oversee the installation configuration and integration of hardware and software systems. Ensure that new systems are aligned with the clients business goals.
- Project Management: Manage IT projects from inception to completion ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Technical Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for IT systems. Respond to technical issues promptly and work to resolve them efficiently.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of client systems processes and project progress. Provide regular reports to clients and management.
- Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for client staff to ensure they are proficient in using new systems and technologies.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure that all IT solutions comply with relevant industry standards and regulations. Implement security measures to protect client data and systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- years of experience in IT consulting system analysis or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure including networks servers and databases.
- Proficiency in various operating systems (e.g. Windows Linux) and software applications.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud).
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong project management skills with experience in Agile methodologies.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as CompTIA ITIL or PMP are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in a related field.
- Experience in specific industries (e.g. finance healthcare manufacturing).
- Advanced certifications (e.g. CISSP CISA AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
