Job Description
We are hiring motivated and reliable Warehouse Staff to join our team. As a Warehouse Staff member you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse. This position involves a range of tasks including inventory management order fulfillment and general warehouse maintenance. Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and Processing Shipments: Unload and inspect incoming shipments ensuring accuracy and quality of goods.
- Inventory Management: Maintain and organize inventory track stock levels and perform regular stock checks.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick pack and prepare orders for shipping ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean and organized adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.
- Material Handling: Operate forklifts pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.
- Team Collaboration: Work with other warehouse staff and departments to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that arise.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification may be required).
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Grade 12/Matric certificate required.
