Are you passionate about supporting students mental health and academic success Do you have expertise in school psychology and a heart for education If so we have an incredible opportunity for you!
- Conducting psychological evaluations to assess students academic emotional and behavioral needs.
- Collaborating with educators parents and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Providing counseling and crisis intervention for students as needed.
- Supporting teachers and staff by offering strategies and interventions to promote positive behavior and mental health.
- Facilitating communication between students families and school staff to promote a supportive educational environment.
- Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations regarding special education services and student assessments.
Requirements
- Master s or Specialist degree in School Psychology.
- Valid Illinois PEL School Psychologist certification (NASP certification preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of psychological testing evaluations and intervention strategies.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with educators parents and students.
