Test Automation Engineer DevOps Engineer

For our client in Bucharest we are looking for a Test Automation Engineer (DevOps Engineer).

Responsibilities:

Develop enhance and maintain the quality platform designed for use by our engineers.

Exhibit excellent communication skills paired with proven experience in Agile methodologies preferably Scrum.

Leverage your expertise in test automation and test data management tooling Cypress Playwright Karate Framework and Packt to ensure topnotch quality.

Develop the performance testing solution and support the engineering teams in its implementation.

Fundamental knowledge of Kafka.

Collaborate proactively with other product/application teams to help improve businesses systems.

Role is predominantly a DevOps strong knowledge on 1 specific area e.g. Kubernetes/Kafka/Performance Testing expertise.

Must Haves: DevOps experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines and where test automation fits in the pipeline in order to build this pipeline from a release engineering aspect.

Must Have: 1 stronger knowledge in one of these areas Kubernetes or Kafka or Performance Testing expertise.

Technical Requirements:

At least 5 years of relevant experience using the mentioned tools and technologies.

Experience setting up a test automation solution for API UI and Kafka applications (Karate framework Playwright).

Handson experience with managing Kubernetes.

Experience in performance testing to ensure smooth operation of business platforms.

Experience in testing Java using Gatlin.

Proficiency in using GitHub and GitHub actions for effective version control.

Nice to have experience with Azure Cloud Services.
