The role

The purpose of this role is to lead motivate support and drive the performance and workflow of the teams located in the Chile office. In addition the role will support the Business Operations Manager in the daytoday management and operation of the team to ensure objectives and KPIs are met and drive the team to achieve customer satisfaction supplier retention and growth.


Key responsibilities

  • Lead the activities and performance of the team; set expectations and goals; provide guidance and direction as needed to ensure achievement.
  • Promote positive employee relations and a culture of high performance to ensure staff feel motivated and supported to perform to their potential.
  • Be an advocate for Sedex business decisions by positively highlighting the reasons benefits and expected outcomes to all team members in a timely manner.
  • Hold regular 1:1s & team meetings to share insights understand the challenges support and develop the team.
  • Coordinate the Induction process for all new team members.
  • Ensure the relevant and consistent training provided to the team is in line with business objectives and growth.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and deliver enhanced customer value whilst delivering a return on investment for Sedex.
  • Monitor membership feedback comments and suggestions to ensure continuous improvement & ensure insights are communicated with the wider business on a regular basis.
  • Identify opportunities to support and increase member retention and growth.
  • Liaise with the Marketing team to create case studies success stories promotional materials for wider team
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify common challenges and provide solutions to achieve the teams and business objectives.
  • Work closely with other departments to deliver on team commitments.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of member training and events.


Knowledge Skills & Experience

  • Fluency in Spanish and English
  • Experience in Team Management / Team Leading roles or in any other position or exposure to coaching a team.
  • Strong coaching techniques and ability to drive long term strategies would be desirable
  • Excellent organisational skills able to manage multiple requirements or conflicting priorities.
  • Analytical skills ie. managing the work queues analysing the flow and volume vs team productivity etc.
  • Commercial awareness proven track record of achieving revenue targets.
  • Outstanding communication skills able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across different geographies and cultural contexts.
  • Problemsolving thinking approach to tasks
  • Multitasking liaising with different stakeholders at the same time
  • Desirable experience of ESG / Supply Chain / Sustainability / Responsible sourcing.
