Job Title: XRay/CT Technologist

Job Summary:
Join our dynamic Radiology Department as an XRay/CT Technologist where your expertise will play a crucial role in patient care. You will perform vital imaging exams Xrays CT scans and EKGs ensuring accurate diagnostics as ordered by physicians. This position requires alternating night and weekend oncall duties with fellow technologists allowing you to contribute to patient care around the clock.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daytoday imaging exams including Xray CT and EKG procedures ensuring highquality results.
- Position patients accurately for diagnostic imaging and provide them with guidance and support throughout the process.
- Adhere strictly to physician orders to guarantee precision in image capture while shielding patients from unnecessary radiation exposure.
- Maintain and troubleshoot diagnostic imaging equipment ensuring it operates efficiently and effectively.
- Foster a professional friendly environment for patients families and colleagues promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Stay current with advancements in radiology by participating in educational classes and training.
- Safeguard the privacy of protected health information (PHI) in all forms.
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures within the facility.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology School.
- Current ARRT certification (R CT) required; registryeligible candidates may also apply.
- State of North Dakota license preferred; willing to hire without ND licensure if obtained prior to start.
- Proficient in starting IVs and knowledgeable about Toshiba/Canon CT and Carestream Xray equipment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Job Requirements:

- Familiarity with facility and departmental safety policies is essential.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing education to enhance skills and knowledge in advanced radiology technologies.
Typical Working Conditions:
Your work environment will primarily be in the Radiology Department but may extend to Acute Care LongTerm Nursing Care Emergency Room Surgery and Clinic settings. You will interact with a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics. The department operates 10 hours per day with oncall responsibilities outside regular hours during the week and on weekends.
