Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer with over 10 years of experience in designing developing and executing test cases using Selenium and Java. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop maintain and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
- Design comprehensive test cases and test scenarios based on requirements and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with developers product managers and QA teams to identify test requirements and design test strategies.
- Perform functional regression and performance testing to ensure software quality.
- Analyze test results identify defects and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tools.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes methodologies and tools.
- Mentor junior QA team members and provide guidance on best practices in automation testing.
Required Skills:
- 10 years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation testing.
- Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver Java and test automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in writing test cases and creating test scripts for web applications.
- Experience with tools like JUnit TestNG Maven and Jenkins.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Experience in API testing load testing and performance testing is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of databases and SQL for backend testing.
- Familiarity with RESTful web services and API testing tools.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
