Job Description

Job Profile: Placement Outreach Manager

Position Title: Placement Outreach Manager
Location: D COIL Gurgaon (with potential travel across India)
Employment Type: FullTime
Reports To: Center Director / Head of D COIL
Salary Range: 47 LPA (commensurate with experience)

Role Overview

The Placement Outreach Manager will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong relationships between D COIL and the corporate sector ensuring successful placement opportunities for students and securing corporate training programs. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between academia and industry helping students transition into their professional careers and positioning D COIL as a top destination for talent recruitment and corporate upskilling.


Key Responsibilities

1. Industry Partnerships & Outreach

  • Develop and execute a corporate outreach strategy to identify potential employers for student placements internships and corporate training opportunities.
  • Build longterm relationships with key stakeholders in industries such as IT Data Science AI Digital Marketing Finance and other relevant fields.
  • Negotiate and establish partnerships with companies for corporate training programs ensuring a steady stream of engagements and revenue generation for D COIL.
  • Organize corporate visits guest lectures and industry panels to provide students with insights and exposure to realworld business challenges.


2. Placement & Internship Management

  • Collaborate with the Career Services team to identify and secure placement opportunities for students in line with their skills and career goals.
  • Coordinate and execute campus recruitment drives placement weeks and job fairs both online and offline to ensure students are exposed to potential employers.
  • Work closely with students to match their skillsets and aspirations with relevant corporate partners for internships and final placements.
  • Ensure continuous feedback from recruiters and companies to improve student readiness and employability.


3. Corporate Training and Development

  • Work with industry partners to identify training needs for their employees and position D COIL as a solution provider for corporate upskilling.
  • Design and promote customized corporate training programs that cater to industry needs in areas like AI/ML Data Analytics FullStack Development and Digital Marketing.
  • Coordinate with the Academic Program Director to ensure corporate training programs are highquality impactful and aligned with current industry trends.


4. Strategic Planning & Reporting

  • Develop and present an annual corporate outreach and placement strategy including clear goals timelines and action plans.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics such as the number of industry connections internships/placement conversions corporate training revenue and student feedback.
  • Analyze market trends and adjust the strategy to meet the evolving demands of the industry and ensure student preparedness for future opportunities.


5. Alumni Relations

  • Engage with alumni to create a strong alumni network that can support placements internships and industry mentorship.
  • Organize alumni events and leverage the network for industry connections corporate sponsorships and training programs.


Key Skills & Competencies

  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the current job market industry trends and skill demands particularly in fields like IT Data Science Digital Marketing and other emerging sectors.
  • Networking & Relationship Building: Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with industry leaders corporate recruiters and HR professionals.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills to engage with corporate partners students and internal teams.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills to plan and execute campus placements corporate training programs and industry engagement initiatives.
  • Student Mentorship: Ability to mentor students and help them navigate their career choices offering insights on interview techniques resume building and career planning.
  • Strategic Thinking: Capable of developing and executing longterm placement and outreach strategies aligned with the goals of D COIL.


Qualifications

  • Education: A bachelor s or master s degree in Business Administration Marketing HR or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 35 years of experience in corporate relations placement management business development or a similar role.
  • Proven experience in establishing corporate partnerships and managing recruitment drives.
  • Prior experience working with educational institutions or corporate training programs is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel Word PowerPoint) CRM tools and online job portals. Familiarity with job boards and recruitment platforms is advantageous.

  • Number of new corporate partnerships established for placements and internships.
  • Placement rate of students in relevant industries and companies.
  • Revenue generated through corporate training programs.
  • Employer satisfaction and feedback postplacement or training.
  • Student satisfaction with the placement process and support provided.
  • Growth of the alumni network and its active participation in outreach and mentoring.
