Job Description
Job Title: SDET Architect
Job Location: Charlotte NC
Interview: Live Coding Followed by Virtual Interview
Job Duration: 12 Months
Responsibilities:
The primary duties and responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement a longterm quality strategy that aligns with the organizations objectives.
- Define and enforce quality standards metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Design a comprehensive quality framework encompassing the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Establish processes for gathering requirements conducting design and code reviews testing and deployment.
- Integrate quality checkpoints into automated build and deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
- Develop and execute a holistic testing strategy that includes unit integration system and regression testing.
- Identify and implement appropriate testing tools and methodologies to ensure optimal test coverage.
- Analyze testing outcomes and provide constructive feedback to development teams.
- Collaborate closely with development product management and operations teams to promote a culture focused on quality.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to quality engineers and testers.
- Work with stakeholders to prioritize qualityrelated initiatives and manage resource allocation efficiently.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in designing and implementing quality frameworks within software development.
- Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps principles.
- Expertise in continuous integration tools and pipelines (e.g. Harness GitLab CircleCI GitHub Actions).
- Proficiency in software automation test management and bug tracking tools (e.g. Selenium Cypress Jira Rally Zephyr).
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g. Load Runner JMeter) is a plus.
- Experience with programming languages (e.g. Java Python) and scripting languages (e.g. Bash PowerShell) is a plus.
