3 months contract with a Local Authority (ongoing)
Job Summary:
- Opus People Solutions on behalf of Bromsgrove District and Redditch Borough Council are looking for an experienced MOT Tester with a minimum of 5 years MOT Testing experience and preferably experience in testing Taxi vehicles including 6 monthly and annual Inspections as well as accident damaged vehicle Inspections along with Council vehicle Fleet on an initial up to 3month contract.
Key Duties/Accountabilities (Sample):
- Undertake the MOT Inspections of our light fleet of vehicles as well as carrying out Taxi MOT and 6 monthly and annual Inspections with some additional accident damage Taxi and Fleet vehicles when required.
- Maintain and manage the MOT Diary daily to meet all the booked appointments as necessary and to report any customers or vehicles to management immediately that have not turned up for their appointment or have any major concerns or are refused from testing.
Skills/Experience:
- The successful candidate must have experience of working in a fleet workshop.
- Experienced DVSA nominated tester class 4 (5&7 is highly desirable but not essential).
- Taxi Testing Inc 6 monthly & Annual Inspections Accident damage Inspections desirable.
- Managing an MOT daily Diary Calendar so that every booked appointment is completed & confirmed.
Additional Information:
- The closing date: 01/11/24 @11:00.
