Relocation assistance to the North West is available!


Are you a hyperintelligent weirdo software developer who wants to work with a company full of hyperintelligent weirdo software developers


Strange question huh


But if the answer is "yes" (the "weirdo" bit is optional but thats how some of them describe themselves at least weird is good!) then read on....


BUT...you need to be humble. Humility is a prerequisite. Certainly you need to be aware of your own brilliance but your obsessions need to be learning what you dont know and improving rather than telling the world what you do know and settling. If this is you then we know a company that will be your natural home. And "home" it will be or homefromhome at least. The company are unashamedly onsite (Greater Manchester) only but they way they work treat their team members and generally "tick" totally justifies this approach.


So the company is an SME specialising in both SaaS and product in their particular market. Software development is at the heart of all they do and because of that they will only consider the best people: best academically best culturally and best in terms of talent and achievement. Its probably the highest bar weve ever worked with and you may well have to adjust your CV to be considered. They want to know your university grades (and youll be asked about your Alevels too) your attitudes to work and life your aspirations what you feel you bring to the table and in particular your achievements. And you need to be clear! "Involved in..." wont cut it! "I designed..." "I built.." these are the things they will want to see.


You need to be that unicorn mix of a genuine selfstarter but someone who works in a team and genuinely thrives on the interaction and togetherness that a team environment brings. They are flat in structure agile to the nth degree (and youll need to demonstrate that you understand agile and how it speaks to your soul) and as far as they are concerned everyone is a potential if not actual leader.


What were looking for Thats easy. Its software developers with amazing talent and experience in either a JS / JavaScript stack and/or a .NET stack. Thats it! They dont choose people with particular experience for a particular role. They find excellence hire it and put it to work on the most beneficial projects. Youll get crosstraining mentoring and agile support and youll be surrounded by hyperintelligent hypersupportive and emotionallyintelligent people. (Emotional intelligence is just as much as a prerequisite as JS or .NET). They will consider all experience levels from 2 years upwards. But theyre looking for people with a record of making things.


The rewards Where do I start! The list is pages long far too long for me to list but includes everything from medical insurance through to free lunches prepared freshly by bespoke chefs every single day. Salaries are over market rate. We dont usually like to post without a salary but it really does depend on experience and circumstance. But we guarantee that as long as your requirements are reasonable you wont be refusing the offer on the grounds of salary.
