Job Description
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for our valet team who can assist incoming vehicles to the valet site and also safely park and retrieve vehicles when needed.
Primary Skills:
Safety and Speed: Customers want their cars quickly and dont want to wait. Being able to safely retrieve cars promptly is key. Handeye Coordination: Valets will be driving someone elses car and need to be careful.
Customer Service: Valets need to be courteous to drivers and responsive to their needs.
Stamina: Valets spend most of their time on their feet running back and forth to cars.
Requirements
Valid VA Drivers License with Safe Driving Points Balance of at least 1
Must have held current license for at least one year 5 years preferred
Successful candidates will:
Be outgoing courteous and respectful
Be observant and safetyminded
Be able to work Monday Friday
Be able to work well as a team
Be able to take direction from others
Be able to pass a drug test
Be able to pass a background check (no larceny or violent crime offenses)
Have a clean driving record with no recent speeding tickets reckless driving or DUI s
Have excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to drive a manual transmission is a plus!
Tasks:
Take numbered tags from customers locate vehicles and deliver vehicles or provide customers with instructions for locating vehicles.
Keep parking areas and lanes clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximized.
Direct motorists to parking areas or parking spaces using hand signals.
Patrol parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and vehicle or property thefts.
Park and retrieve automobiles for customers in parking lots and garages.
Greet customers and open their car doors.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
