Shenley very close to North London/ Central London
We are looking for a live in housekeeper (with some minimal babysitting duties) for a lovely client of ours. The family live in a large 5bedroom property in the village of Shenley. The village is close to North London and also 14 miles from Central London with train links to King Cross etc. Also there is a bus stop right outside their road that takes you either to Radlett or to Borehamwood train station which are both 5 min away.
The family is composed of Mum Dad and 3 children aged 7 11 and 13. They also have 3 small dogs a Shih Tzu and two Cavapoo.
The house is a busy home with lots of people coming and going and also guests etc but it s a fun home and environment to be in.
They are looking for a housekeeper not only to assist them with the household duties but to also be a part of their home and family someone who is looking to stay long term.
They would also consider employing two Housekeepers or a full time Housekeeper and a weekend Housekeeper.
Duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
Keep all rooms vacuumed dusted clean and tidy at all times
Maintain the laundry and ironing
Change all bed linen towels etc
Babysitting when needed minimal
Cooking basic. If you can help prepare basic dinner for the kids (things like pasta etc) this would be great. If you can cook more than basic that s amazing but not essential.
Receive deliveries and deal with contractors
Help when the family is entertaining (prepare things clear up afterwards etc)
In the summer the family spends a lot of time outside in the garden and at the swimming pool so make sure you change/ wash the swimming pool towels etc
Feed the 3 small dogs and let them out in the garden. Dad usually walks them.
Any other duties as needed
Working days and hours: ideally 6 days a week 7am to 7:30pm/ 8pm with breaks. Mon to Sat. The family will however definitely consider someone Mon to Fri only or someone for 5.5 days a week so please apply if keen and discuss with the agency.
Accommodation for the HK would be own room and bathroom on the top floor.
Driving is not essential.
Their last housekeeper has been with them for 3 years and highly recommends them.

They are looking for someone with previous housekeeping experience in a private household
