Junior Business Controller

What youll do

In this role you will report to our Business Controlling Manager and be responsible for a diverse range of tasks:

• Accounts receivable management: Ultimately responsible for controlling financing of the cars before delivery as well as cash collection of major customers in close collaboration with the Sales team.
• Accounts Payable management: Managing the overall process with suppliers ranging from establishing contracts with new suppliers to ensuring invoices are paid on time.
• Reporting & Analysis: proactively prepare reports and analyze data to identify gaps within our processes in order to optimize our financial activities. You translate your conclusions into a concrete action plan and manage the operational rollout of projects in cooperation with relevant stakeholders.
• First point of contact for audit related questions in strong cooperation with the accounting department.
• Assisting the Business Controlling Manager with monthly closures and budgeting tasks.
  
  

Within this role you will be able to take responsibility and initiative to expand your range of duties. Your sense of initiative and eagerness to learn will help you make rapid steps in this position. We provide a growth path in which you can evolve relatively quickly from junior to senior controller. Our Business Controlling Manager will be happy to challenge you when taking on new projects.

Who you are

• You have a bachelors or masters degree in a relevant financial field.
• Minimum 2 years work experience within a finance department is desired so that you have learned the first tricks of the trade.
• You have a fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and also enjoy learning new digital tools.
• You are Dutch speaking but also fluent in English because of the cooperation with our head office in Sweden.
• You have a strong eye for detail take quick action when needed and love to delve into data. You track the progress of processes and you also keep seeing the bigger picture in the details.
• You have an entrepreneurial attitude that makes you quick to take initiative to take on new tasks.
