Index Research - Team managerBangalore

Job brief

We are looking for an Index research analytics and database management services to in Index Research around the globe. The Research analyst is liable to be able to write research ranging from one to several pages with little supervision that would include relevant supporting data.

Responsibilities

• Equity research and Index methodology understanding with good writing skill.
  
• create content should have proficiency of Office 365 products such as Microsoft word Excel Power point. Good understanding of Confluence and generative AI tool Github Copilot and/or ChatGPT
  
• The research team to largely be highly adept in equities but ideally they understand some other asset classes like fixed income options and other derivatives too.
  
• Coordinate with US counterparts on daily index research activities
  
• Assist in drafting and publishing index methodologies fact sheet pro forma etc.
  
• Take active participation to manage and support an ongoing inventory of longterm strategic projects and nearterm BAU projects aimed to improve the current business processes
  
• Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function
  
• Liaise with IT teams and other internal teams
  

Requirements

• 8 year experience in financial domain ( Index Research role) with hands on experience in Index methodology understanding proficiency of Office 365 products or related domains
  
• Good understanding of Confluence and generative AI tool Github Copilot and/or ChatGPT
  
• Excellent communications skills to engage with onshore clients and independently manage and execute Index data projects
  
• Outstanding presentation reporting and communication skills
  
• Good understanding of Capital Markets Financial Products and Indexes
  
• Master degree in Commerce Finance Economics or related field
