Director Global Corporate Real Estate
Our client in the insurance industry is seeking an experienced professional to manage a global real estate portfolio. This 12month contract involves developing real estate strategies optimizing workplace solutions and providing strategic leadership for corporate real estate initiatives across 400 locations worldwide.
What is in it for you:
Hourly salary of $59.00 to $67.04 based on experience.
12month contract with potential for extension until October 2025.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule from 9am to 5pm with flexibility to work 8:30am to 4:30pm or 8am to 4pm based on candidate preference.
Hybrid work: 3 office days from Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee the global real estate strategy ensuring cost efficiency sustainability and alignment with longterm business objectives.
Lead workplace strategy initiatives to optimize office space and drive engagement and productivity.
Manage the global real estate portfolio to maximize efficiency and minimize expenses.
Collaborate with Corporate Real Estate (CRE) stakeholders to develop and implement a roadmap for the company s real estate footprint that aligns with workforce and business strategies globally.
Stay informed about the latest industry trends in CRE through events publications and seminars recommending best practices for the company s portfolio.
Provide financial analysis and thought leadership to support business unit decisionmaking.
Prepare business cases and related documents for leadership approval ensuring compliance with internal approval and procurement practices.
Serve as the main point of contact for reporting on capital projects key performance indicators (KPIs) and other portfolio metrics.
Manage or support various CRE and enterprise initiatives working closely with regional leadership teams and property management across different time zones.
What you will need to succeed:
MBA or equivalent advanced degree (an asset).
7 years of experience in real estate strategy with increasing responsibility.
Strong background in real estate analytics particularly portfolio and workplace strategy.
Proven experience with financial analysis project financials and budget management.
Project management experience with a track record of leading crossfunctional projects across teams and time zones.
Indepth knowledge of corporate real estate trends and workplace strategies.
Advanced skills in developing spreadsheets presentations and reports for various stakeholders.
Excellent communication presentation and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and engage effectively with global teams.
