Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Consulting with clients to understand their beauty needs and preferences
- Performing hair cutting styling coloring and treatments
- Providing skincare treatments and advice
- Applying makeup for various occasions
- Performing hair removal treatments such as waxing and threading
- Advising clients on beauty products and treatments
- Keeping work areas clean and organized
- Maintaining knowledge of current beauty trends and techniques
- Building and maintaining client relationships
- Managing appointment schedules and payments
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a cosmetology or beautician program
- State cosmetology or beautician license
- Demonstrated experience in hair styling skincare and makeup application
- Proficiency in using beauty tools and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Knowledge of beauty product brands and their uses
- Commitment to maintaining highstandards of hygiene and cleanliness
