Job Description
- Analyze and interpret geomechanical data from various sources, including well logs, core samples, and seismic data.
- Develop and maintain geomechanical models to predict rock behavior and optimize drilling and production operations.
- Provide geomechanical support for well planning, drilling, and completion activities.
- Collaborate with geologists, reservoir engineers, and drilling engineers to integrate geomechanical data into reservoir models.
- Conduct geomechanical studies to assess wellbore stability, sand production, and hydraulic fracturing.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in geomechanics and apply new technologies and methodologies to improve project outcomes.
- Mentor and train junior geomechanics engineers and other team members.
