Job Description
RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian for 24 hrs/week in the area for a 60% remote assignment!
Schedule: Flexible MondayFriday during normal business hours with only two onsite visits per month and the remaining hours completed remotely via telehealth.
Hours: 24 hours per week.
Compensation: $30.00$38.00 per hour based on experience.
Commute Compensation: Paid at your hourly rate for travel time to and from the facility.
At least 1 year of clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Completes nutritional assessment and follow ups using evidencebased practice according to the facilitys policy.
- Nutrition education focused intervention focusing on general nutrition and some weight loss/gain.
- Informs nursing and physician of changes in a patients nutritional status.
- Document assessments of patients with nutritional goals and interventions in the medical record.
- Provide education to the patients and/or family members on nutritional needs as indicated.
- Attend interdisciplinary meetings as assigned.
- Adhere to all facility s policies and procedures including confidentiality and patient s rights.
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements: Candidates must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Experience providing general nutrition interventions (i.e. weight loss weight gain food intolerances etc.)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience with electronic charting systems

Requirements
Bachelors degree with major studies in food and nutrition. Current state licensure/certification, if required by state. Current registration by the Commission on Dietetics Registration. One (1) year of work experience in a facility setting with clinical responsibilities or equivalent.
