Brooklyn Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager in Brooklyn NY.
We are now offering a $5000 SignOn Bonus!!!
Duties:
Brooklyn Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is a stateoftheart 281bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility located in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn. Its a 280000 sq. ft. ultramodern facility with a 6000 sq. ft. hightech therapy suite and 14000 sq. ft of exclusive rooftop and outdoor spaces. A recognized leader in shortterm rehab and longterm care Brooklyn Center is committed to ensuring the highest quality of life for all our patients and residents helping each to get stronger healthier and happier. Duties:
- Handle all supervisory duties for assigned unit
- Help establish and implement employee policies and procedures
- Mentor less experienced nurses offering clinical & career advice
- Maintain the standards of care for the unit
- Review Resident records & quality of care
- Monitor overall care & review individual Residents cases
- Address questions or complaints brought forward by Residents or their families
- Represent the units interests with the upperlevel management
- Must hold valid State RN License
- 3 years Long Term Care Experience preferred
- 2 years Charge Nurse experience preferred
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
