We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our residential care facility. As a Grade 3 Care Assistant you will play a vital role in providing highquality care and support to our residents. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure our residents physical emotional and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing personal care and support to residents including assistance with bathing dressing and toileting.

Assisting with medication administration and ensuring proper documentation.

Supporting residents with their daily activities such as meal preparation housekeeping and recreational activities.

Monitoring residents health and reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

Building positive relationships with residents and their families ensuring their needs and preferences are respected and met.

Maintaining accurate and uptodate records of care provided.

Following all health and safety protocols and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a care or healthcare setting is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to help others.

Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
