The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of construction materials and services procurement processes ensuring that all purchasing aligns with project timelines and budgetary considerations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective procurement strategies tailored to construction projects.
- Identify evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers of construction materials equipment and services.
- Manage supplier relationships to guarantee high quality competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials.
- Collaborate with project managers and site teams to understand procurement needs and provide strategic support.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and analyze trends in construction pricing and availability.
- Maintain thorough documentation of procurement processes purchases contracts and supplier communications.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory safety and company standards in all procurement activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
