Their software development teams are expanding and they are adding QA Engineers to several different product teams.

Responsibilities:

Become an IT Operations Expert:Help shape the future of MSPs and IT teams by understanding user needs evaluating product usability and offering invaluable feedback.

Lead Quality Testing & Troubleshooting: Take the reins on comprehensive software testing to ensure seamless feature releases. Craft and maintain precise test plans while ensuring consistent quality across all platforms.

Create Impactful Documentation: Generate detailed reports on software quality and functionality after rigorous testing. Clearly document defects and issues for swift resolution by development teams.

Drive Continuous Improvement: Propose enhancements to testing methods tools and processes to continuously evolve and perfect QA practices.

Foster Collaboration: Work closely with developers product managers and leaders throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure topnotch quality standards are met.

Musthave Requirements:

5 Years in Manual Quality Assurance Testing

2 Years Scripting Experience: Proficiency in at least one or more scripting languages such as PowerShell Bash Batch or Python.

5 Years in Technical IT Support or Systems Engineering: Essential experience in roles like Technical IT Support Product Support or Systems Engineering.

Experience with Multiple Operating Systems: Handson experience with at least 2 of the following: Windows Mac or Linux including a solid understanding of system settings and foundational aspects like the Windows Registry.

Experience with computer networks and network equipment: Proficiency in setting up and managing network infrastructure and equipment.

Database Experience: Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL SQL and MySQL.

Experience with virtualization: Familiarity with any Type 2 hypervisors such as VMware Workstation VMware Fusion VirtualBox or Parallels.

Mobile App Testing

TCP/IP Protocols: Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols including SNMP TCP UDP ICMP and DNS is a great fit for our network monitoring team.

Outstanding Communication Skills: Proficiency in English with exceptional communication skills is required.

Experience with API platforms: Proficiency in using Postman or other similar tools for API testing and management.

Ability to analyze log files: Skilled in collecting and interpreting information from log files to diagnose and resolve issues.

Experience with remote control tools: Familiarity with remote access tools such as TeamViewer Splashtop AnyDesk or ConnectWise.

Knowledge of cmd/PowerShell: Understanding of cmd and PowerShell with the ability to effectively use these tools for scripting and automation.

Basic knowledge of OSI layers: Understanding the fundamentals of OSI layers and their role in network communication.

You must be located in Brazil Colombia Ecuador or Mexico.

BA/BS degree

Automation Testing: Experience with Automation Testing will make you a more senior candidate for our teams.

Jira & Jira XRay: Familiarity with Jira and the Jira XRay extension will set you apart.
