The Role:

• Supervise Surface Treatment Employees and subcontractors in rubber lining painting and sandblasting activities.
  
• Guide train and assist the team to meet tight deadlines and ensure quality workmanship.
  
• Take and follow directions from the Management Team collaborating effectively with crew members when necessary.
  
• Perform quality control during the application of rubber lining.
  
• Oversee projects safely efficiently and in line with company objectives and scope of work.
  
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with quality requirements company policy and government legislation.
  
• Manage materials and equipment ensuring they are supplied delivered handled and stored safely.
  
• Identify calibrate adjust and label measuring and testing equipment for the work area.
  
• Perform Rubber Lining duties as required.
  

Requirements

To Be Successful in This Role You Will Have:

• 5 years of Rubber Lining experience.
  
• A strong work ethic with a cando attitude and willingness to work overtime as required.
  
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  
• A current Drivers Licence with reliable transport.
  
• A Forklift Ticket.
  
• The ability to deliver outcomes to a high standard and in line with project plans and timeframes.
  

Desirable Criteria:

• Knowledge of industrial paints.
  
• Ability to paint in accordance with specifications.
  
• Competence in using airless and conventional spray equipment.
  
• NACE certification.
  
• Dogging/Rigging Ticket.
  
• Confined Space and Working Safely at Heights certifications.
  
• Fire Sentry certification.
  
• First Aid Certificate.
  
• Elevated Work Platform certification.
