Data Entry Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Data Entry Specialist to manage and maintain our database systems. This role involves more than just basic data entry; it requires accuracy consistency and a keen eye for detail to ensure highquality data management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter update and maintain large volumes of data in various databases and systems.
• Verify data accuracy by crossreferencing with source documents and correcting any discrepancies.
• Generate reports and summaries based on entered data for management review.
• Assist in developing and implementing data entry processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform regular data audits to ensure data integrity and consistency across systems.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve any datarelated issues or inconsistencies.
• Manage sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality and security.
• Provide support for special datarelated projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
• Proven experience in data entry with a strong track record of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and familiarity with data management software.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience with data entry in a specialized field (e.g. finance healthcare) is a plus.
