Part-time Bookkeeper - Japanese Bilingual

Location: Torrance CA (onsite)

A dynamic Japanese IT company is seeking a detailoriented and organized individual to join our team as a parttime bookkeeper.

Job Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices match purchase orders and ensure timely payments.
• Accounts Receivable: Generate and send invoices track payments and resolve any discrepancies.
• Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into accounting software.
• Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and identify any discrepancies.
• General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with monthend and yearend closing procedures.
• Other accounting tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Fluency in both English and Japanese
• Experience in bookkeeping or accounting
• Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Associates degree in accounting or related field preferred but not required.

Work Schedule
